Athletico change two

Athletico have announced the additions of former Tainted Minds player Jesse "InfrequeNt" Barker and Tyson "pan1K" Missak, replacing Willem "badge" Clarke and Ollie "Dickstacy" Tierney in the active lineup.

Following a crushing defeat to Kings in the grand final of eXTREMESLAND ANZ Regional Finals last weekend, the Australian organisation has decided to bench their AWPer Willem "⁠badger⁠" Clarke and in-game leader Ollie "⁠DickStacy⁠" Tierney.

InfrequeNt will represent Athletico's colours once again

Athletico has confirmed they will bring in their recent stand-in Tyson "⁠pan1K⁠" Missak and ex-Tainted Minds AWPer Jesse "⁠InfrequeNt⁠" Barker to fulfil the void, with the latter being released from his contract as Tainted Minds "did not want to hold him back" or "seek any buyout" for his transfer to Athletico.

Contacted by HLTV.org, here is what their coach Peter "⁠PeetyG⁠" Souvlis had to say:

"An exciting new era has begun with two prolific roster changes being made to help Athletico move forward in the quest to being the premier CS:GO roster in the Asian region," he said.

"DickStacy and badger have been moved out of the roster and onto the bench and with the inclusion of InfrequeNt and pan1K coupled with a few role changes, where flickz will become the in-game leader moving forward."

"We believe this mix of players has what it takes to compete at a high international level. Although the start of a few premium leagues is upon us, we believe these changes will help increase firepower."

An exciting new era has begun with 2 prolific roster changes being made to help Athletico

move forward in the quest to being the premier CSGO roster in the Asian region.

The Australians are set to compete in CGPL Spring, ESEA Premier Season 26 Australia and will debut tomorrow in ZEN League Season 2 with the following lineup:

I mostly just watch the best AU teams like Grayhounds, Kings, Chiefs etc. I guess I'll see more of the dude now that hes in a decently good AU team

Yeah same but I have an excuse which is that 90% of the time no matter what quality livestreams just buffer every 2 seconds. Sometimes it happens where I can't even watch in 144p but sometimes I can watch 720p60 no problem so it's really stupid.

Yep. Canning Vale in Perth. We don't have fiber yet and the closest thing we are getting to fiber is fiber to node expected in June 2018 but even that will be shit compared to EU countries. I'd love to live in an area like South Perth. They have amazing internet and from what I've heard the suburb is beautiful but of course that also means very expensive :P

Yeah we used to have iiNet back when we used to live in Midland and Willetton but we changed to TPG because it was cheaper which is funny because they are even worse than iinet. On the plus side at least we have unlimited now so I can download anything I want. Also no offence but there is a difference between one year and five years :P No one in my family listened to me when I told them that we should live in a house with NBN and now everyone is constantly complaining about the internet speed 24 fucking 7.

That comes right after the shitshow against Kings last saturday with dickstacy being totally hysterical during the game, making a come back completly impossible for his team. This guy has the brain of a 6 yo kid.
