Liquid withdraw from DreamHack Winter

In a statement, Liquid explained that coach Wilton "⁠zews⁠" Prado will need to take some time off to resolve his "persistent" visa issues, which would greatly impact the team's preparation for the Swedish event.

The North American organisation adds that the team "requires a period of dedicated planning and practice" to "recover form", and cited the need to make "sacrifices for the long-term health" of the players due to a packed tournament calendar. 

Liquid will skip DreamHack Winter

Liquid, who are currently taking part in the Americas Minor, had been invited by DreamHack to compete at the Winter event. According to the tournament's organisers, a replacement for the North American team will be announced soon.

The Swedish event will take place from December 1-3, in Jönköping, with $100,000 on offer. The team list for the competition is the following:
