Ghost release ryx

Ghost Gaming and Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki have decided to part ways, the North American organisation has announced.

The announcement follows a disappointing run of results from the North American team, who have been relegated from the ESL Pro League and currently sit at the foot of the ECS table, with only two matches left to play.

ryx is no longer part of Ghost

Ronnie "⁠ryx⁠" Bylicki had been part of Ghost since the beginning of the current tournament season, in August, when he was recruited alongside Caio "⁠zqkS⁠" Fonseca and Joshua "⁠sancz⁠" Ballenger. During these three months, the team made a sole LAN appearance, at the ROG Masters Americas Finals, where they lost out to Splyce in the final.

"I want to thank Ghost for taking care of me in my short time with the team," ryx told Dust2.us.

"Going into this I knew things wouldn't be easy, but I'll never shy away from a challenge.

"Failure is part of growing and becoming a better person/player. Good luck to them."

Rogue member Collin "⁠wrath⁠" McSweegan played as a stand-in in Tuesday's double ECS header against OpTic, and his addition could soon be formalised by Ghost, Dust2.us has reported.

The North American team currently have the following four-man roster:
