iGame.com make several roster changes

The Finnish team, which was the best side in the country and was sitting just outside the Top 20 in early 2017, has made several changes to try and get back in shape.

iGame.com announced changes after the team was unable to find stability in-game and didn't qualify for any LANs in the last quarter of 2017. Kimmo "⁠BASiC⁠" Fagerholm and Otto "⁠ottoNd⁠" Sihvo were brought on to the team after Saku "⁠SAGGERTON⁠" Jokinen and Lasse "⁠ZOREE⁠" Uronen's departure in September, but that lineup only lasted three weeks as the latter joined HAVU where he is now currently plying his trade.

After ottoNd's departure, Timi "⁠aslak⁠" Verkkoperä, the former ROCCAT player, was brought on to handle the AWP but the Finn was unable to reach old form and with the team unable to find the right chemistry and motivation, was ultimately let go.

SAGGERTON is back in iGame.com

With BASiC not up to par with only 1500 hours played in the game and Juho "⁠juho⁠" Lampinen also having left the team, iGame.com called SAGGERTON and former player turned coach, Slaava "⁠Twista⁠" Räsänen, back to the active lineup.

The last spot on the roster will be filled by Olli "⁠sLowi⁠" Pitkänen, at least momentarily, as he will be on trial with the team. His first appearance will be in less than a week at LanTrek 2018 in Tampere, where he will try and help iGame.com defend their title from last year.

iGame.com's lineup now looks as follows:

Time for Aslak to retire again for the 4th time. Finns seem to be second only to the UK in getting any decent players to make a solid team and actually stick together for more than a few months and take it seriously. So glad SuNny escaped this shit as he's such a great player.
