Wind and Rain change two

Wind and Rain have moved to strengthen their squad by signing Tom "⁠jenko⁠" Jenkinson and Jonas "⁠hemzk9⁠" Rantamäki, the UK-based organisation have announced.

The British team had been on the lookout for two new players after parting ways with Travis "⁠L1NK⁠" Mendoza and Calum "⁠Kray⁠" Knight after missing out on the ESL Premiership finals and placing 20th in their debut ESEA MDL season.

jenko is mostly known for his time with fm-esports, with whom he won the UK Masters Season 2 as well as Insomnia 59, while hemzk9 had recently helped PAPERPLANES to secure promotion to ESEA MDL from the Main division.

nEiLZiNHo hopes his team will cause some upsets in MDL

The new Wind and Rain squad debuted in ESEA MDL Season 28 on Monday, beating Virtus.pro 16-4, with team coach Neil "⁠nEiLZiNHo⁠" Finlay admitting that he expects his team to pull off some upsets throughout the season.

"After our weak performances in MDL towards the end of last season, and with the desire to improve on our results, we have decided to bring in more firepower in the form of jenko and hemzk," nEiLZiNHo told HLTV.org.

"We have had limited time to prepare with the new additions and have been dealt with a tough start in the new MDL season,but I am extremely confident that we can cause even more upsets this season."

Wind and Rain, who will take on David "⁠Davidp⁠" Prins's NOBO at 19:00 in their second match in ESEA MDL, now have:
