compLexity have completed the signing of the x3o Counter-Strike team.

The 2005 ESWC champions had been without a team since releasing the former JaX Money Crew squad on Friday after a number of disappointing showings.

compLexity have now secured the services of the x3o team, who are currently topping the ESEA-invite league along with Evil Geniuses. More recently, they won the WCG US Invitational tournament, beating Evil Geniuses in the Grand Final.

The two organisations have agreed an undisclosed fee for the quintuple, who have moved to North Carolina to prepare for the upcoming events.

x3o manager Nick Fitz says the organisation might shift their focus from Counter-Strike to some other game, such as Blizzard's World of Warcraft.

"Live, learn and move on. While these guys are great, it is just not the right fit for us anymore," he told HLTV.org. " We will probably be taking a break from CS for a while to re-structure internally and then maybe take a look at some new markets that we have stayed away from thus far, like WoW."

The new compLexity team are the following:

Jeff "hero" Mettetal
Derek "dboorn" Boorn

Extreme Masters and KODE5 have shown that difference between the USA and Europe so change of one with other structure will not change a current situation in cs

It's hard to prove that though. Every time a team has tried it has resulted in poor results. Think of the old compLexity, when they dropped Sunman and tr1p they picked up 2 players that were individually a lot better, they weren't as good of a team though. Just because you have better individual players doesn't mean they will play better. EG has a lot of "legend's" on their roster, but they are not the best team in the US, coL\x3o is.
