DTS replace Prostaker at Dreamhack

The Dreamhack organisation has confirmed that DTS.chatrix will replace Prostaker atthe summer event.

The Swedish team had been drawn in Group C and would go head-on with compatriots Aquintra and Finnish side Crack Clan.

However, it has now been confirmed that Prostaker, who had won the qualifier in Gothenburg, will be unable to compete in the tournament.

Contacted by HLTV.org, Marcus "Delpan" Larsson stated that Prostaker do not have any sponsors to cover the tournament's expenses.

Prostaker will be replaced by ASUS Spring Cup winner DTS.chatrix, who have been moved from the BYOC qualifier directly to the main tournament.

DTS have the following team:

Ukraine Ivan "Johnta" Shevcov
Ukraine Yegor "markeloff" Markelov

great? imho it probably means small cups are gonna die,bigger cups like wcg,eswc. etc will be prob. only with the top teams ----> bye bye small teams - and that's the beginning of the end for Counter Strike scene ..

yeh i mean I understand that they must travel and have a place to sleep but there must be a lot of even smaller unheard of teams attending the BYOC event without even dreaming of having a sponsor

Indeed. I mean, it might not be the best conditions, but there is rooms to sleep in at DH, and you can eat pirogues.. It should be YOU who want to play, not that you're just going there because someone's paying you for it..
