New compLexity 1.6 team announced
For the first time in the Jason Lake saga, compLexity will we represented by a Canadian team.
compLexity was one of the most successful and popular teams before they turned to CS:S. After they returned to 1.6 they have yet to reach the same glory and success, but perhaps their latest addition will turn things around?
compLexity states:
Today The Syndicate is happy to announce a big change in our active roster. First and foremost, for the first time in our history we are honored to be represented by a Canadian lineup, formerly Sway Gaming, now known as compLexity Canada or coL.ca. Over the years our large and fiercely loyal Canadian fanbase has continually asked why we haven't fielded a squad to compete at WCG Canada. This year, when the opportunity arose to obtain what we feel is the best squad in the region, we made the move.
The compLexity.ca starting 5 will be the following:
Armeen 'a2z' Toussi
Wilson Ryan "ryennn" Chen
Dave "heller" Marentette
Matt "adr" Caverly
Pedro "YaYooo-" Morim
The pickup hasn’t been meet with a lot of joy and enthusiasm by the Canadian and North American community. The skeptics accuse the former Sway Gaming team of being immatture and professionel and question if they have the needed skills to compete at the very best level.
The team will replace the former winners of the The Creative Complexity Challenge, held earlier this year. The organization didn't believe the team was able to take advantage of benefits provided by compLexity.
Despite the fact that the Creative Complexity Challenge didn't become the success compLexity hoped, compLexity will host a similar event next year.
