Dignitas out on round difference

The British representatives have crashed out of GameGune 09 at the group stages.

After suffering a 19-11 defeat to DELTA in their opening match, Dignitas knew they had a mountain to climb to go beyond the group stages at GameGune 09.

The British side recovered in their second match, beating emoTive 21-9, but they were just unable to do anything against mousesports, losing 24-6 to the German giants.

However, a surprising victory by emoTive against DELTA gave Dignitas some hope as it resulted in a three-way tie in the group.

Under the first criteria, which considered the round difference between the tied teams, both Dignitas and DELTA were tied at +2. The next criteria, the overall round difference, sent the Polish side through as they secured a -12 round difference against Dignitas' -16.
