Crack, Millenium exit GameGune

Crack Clan and Millenium have both been left wondering what went wrong after being eliminated at the group stages.

The Finnish side knew it would be very hard to stay in the competition after a shock defeat to Unibet as it would have to tackle table-toppers Ledpc.

Ledpc started the better, winning the first half 9-6. Now as CT, the Spaniards never allowed Crack Clan to dream about a comeback, securing their lead to win the match 17-13 and the top spot of the group.

Crack Clan now had to wait for Unibet's match against dRu to know their fate, but unfortunately for them, it was the Valencia-based side that won the match, this way throwing the former r00tz team out of the tournament.

Elsewhere, Millenium, winners of the French EPS league, were sent packing. Following a surprising 15-15 draw to BUSSIFUORI in their opening match, Millenium were crushed by seven 23-7.

Millenium's last match, against TBH.eSports, was decided only in the last rounds, but with the Germans securing their 15th round, they had already earned a spot in the knock-out stage, leaving the Frenchmen in an unfamiliar third position in the group.

There are already four matches from the bracket stage determined, so stop by our coverage section for all the latest info about GameGune 2009.

Lurppis has nothing to do with this and he certainly doesnt make teams to fail, there are other factors, I dont care if u personally dont like him

Nice to see that someone who clearly has a FIRM understanding of finnish top cs players is giving comments like this. Current CC players are much more motivated than astralis, that is why they have no organization still. I know for a fact they (astralis) havent been practising at all together. The fact that astralis has conte plaste and ruuit will keep any support far far away from the team. CC tried working with those guys in the past and it failed miserably. CC have practised hard lately and I just cant believe they lost to 2 random spanish teams.

Sad, I wanted both at playoffs, but it's good for spanish teams. Ledpc and Unibet beat CC and advanced to the playoffs :)

Gamegune 2009 has definitely shown the cs level in Spain, Portugal and Germany. These are the two favorites going for WCG and they fail badly :(bet lost): And team 7 has shown there's hope for oldskool players to make a comeback.

how can Portugal have good teams if they always play ban internacional? Phantoms made they firs outside tournament and won a macht, and bussifuori tied with millenium, so i think you have to be more conscious about that..

I know the potential of Phantoms after watching their match against TiTans. Their accuracy was beyond my expectaion. The favorites that i meant were CC and Millenium. And i'm noticing the competitiveness of cs gaming in those 3 countries that i can say has upgraded. While most of them has never represented their country but are able to surprise these teams that are the no.1 favorite to attend WCG 2009. Imo, this is Spain's best achievement ever since Gamegune was created.

The end for Finnish cs is near folks, I'm glad nobody cares about cs anymore, 'cause if it was like 2005 when people still played I'd be pissed. "As I said... Crack won't be able to take the top3 , even not top5. So now they are? low3... another finnish fail." Name one good British clan from the past 3-5 years?
