H2k-Gaming raid Lemondogs

H2k-Gaming have announced their new Counter-Strike team in the shape of Lemondogs.

The Dutch-based organisation had been without a Counter-Strike squad since parting company with the Danish roster, featuring the likes of Andreas "KK" Andreassen and Jonas "whiMp" Svendsen, in the summer of 2007.

H2k-Gaming announced at the time they "did not see a long-lasting future" for Counter-Strike: 1.6 and that they would focus their attention on their other divisions.

They have now completed the signing of the Lemondogs Counter-Strike team, who recently won Dreamhack Summer 2009 with two fnatic players as stand-ins.

"Today is a day that we make our day at H2k-Gaming," Rudy van der Reest, H2k COO, told the team's website.We are very proud on our newest addition and it will be a start of something special. We really looking forward to the upcoming events in Sweden. It's a pleasure to give this team, together with our partners, a warm welcome in the H2k-Gaming Family!"

The Swedish team will have their official debut for the new organisation next week, at WCG Sweden, after which they will compete in the IOL Final 4 at the end of the month.

H2k have now:

Let's hope H2k will make up to the bad reputation they had when releasing the Danish squad, as in not paying the money the team won by placing second at Extreme Masters season one.

I just loved h2k.den with KK and Whimp, remember some good matches against Pentagram and SK, I was curious what happened with them after 2-3 amazing events where they made at least top 3.

To blind PEOPLE: Just do not say niko is bad, he is on the same lvl as whole H2k, very inteligent player with great aim, just watch some matches before you start blame, only because face, threat are more famous or FYRR7E nick looks more old school, 80% of you propably even dont know that niko was in NiP. Conlusion? this team dont need changes, they just getting better and better.

To wannabesmart: In other threads about SK/LD/Swedish scene etc, there is always many posts that niko should be replaced for SpawN/5th sk player/some swedish talent etc.

you can't replace threat who is an IGL with an all rounder like tentpole. robban is the only one fit to replace threat since he vast experience in in-game leading. but i honestly don't think that would be a good move. threat is doing good so far.
