Millenium & oXmoze at EM 4

The Electronic Sports League has confirmed that France will take two teams directly to the European Championship.

As a country with its own EPS league, France will not organize a qualifier for the European Championship as the EPS will serve as a qualifier.

The ESL has now announced that both Millenium and oXmoze [emuLate], the winner and runner-up of the EPS league, respectively, have been given direct entry into the main competitions.

In addition, France will take one side to the second qualifying round - iGamerz - and one to the first round, being D4 Gaming.

The list for Extreme Masters 4 now looks as follows:

EM Season
Qualifying Round 2
Qualifying Round 1
Denmark mTw
Sweden SK Gaming
Germany mystical Lambda
Sweden fnaticGermany n!facultyPoland DELTA
Sweden H2k-GamingGermany YDK
Bulgaria Exitus Letalis
Germany mousesportsPoland LIKWIDACJA Bulgaria Home Dominant
Germany AlternateBulgaria HSBGRomania neXtPlease
Poland WICKEDFrance iGamerz
France D4 Gaming
Poland Frag-eXecutors

France oXmoze

The national qualifiers for the competition will run from August 24 through to September 9, followed by the European qualifiers.

iGamerz is tons better than oXmoze lol, they just got it because of their name/reputation. iG deserves it so much more ;[

im pretty sure thats NOT how they got it, as the article states the the recent EPS counted as the french qualifier. so that is how oxmoze received the place

you are making me doubt myself BUT the results you posted are the online league, not the LAN finals. I dont know, but I assume that maybe millenium and oxmoze did better than igamerz? If not i totally agree with you and think igamerz should go above oxmoze

well im not entirely sure how the french eps are working, in the german eps it's only the 4th first finishers who go to the lan finals and oxmoze in this case fininshed 5th, so if they use the same system as the germans, they didnt even proceed to the lan finals. but it's possible that 5 or 6 teams are going to the lan finals (which i highly doubt) and that they finished over igamerz there. but either way, igamerz is really a better team and everyone with an insight in the french scene knows it, hence why they deserve the spot more than oXz(and also perhaps millenium) does

The previous lan finals showed emL(now oXz) vs Millenium in final.(Millenium won). The ranking posted by you is for the EM5.

EM5? no, it's eps. why else would it link pro-series/cs/5on5/rankings? i found it manually by those links, since i know how the esl system works. it's defo not an em5 qualifier or whatever. it's the ending places of the esl pro series.

emL have done a bad esl season this year (#4). However, they ARE better than iG, now they found a stable orga they will train and hopefuly come back at their top lvl. 2) -M- > iG, no doubt about that, they owned them during the last main french tournament (coupe de france), iG has been better online than at lan. anyway, i think there is no reason to debate this since iG's lu doesn't play anymore (diodel will stop cs, revz plays now with esport-eu). I don't know which lu will play at EM4

alright, you probably know what you are talking about. :) just heard it from several established french players a couple of weeks ago + the very weak results of emL/oXz @ gamegune, but things may have changed since then ^^

u were not entirely wrong, iG was better than emL for a short time, but now oXz should come back, and iG just don't exist anymore

Its so funny to see Frag-eXecutors there and the French teams there when SK isnt hahha! so stupid. I mean Frag-eXecutors sucks imo :).

it does seem silly, but SK and the other great teams will probably reach the main season anyways. Its nice to have a large amount of nations to bring a wider audience aswell, also more chance for shock results :)

am i right in thinking that x6 will be going straight to main round, unibet to Q2 and ledpc + 1 more to Q1 because of recent EPS Spain?
