reDawn announce return

reDawn have confirmed their return with a newly-built Counter-Strike team.

The Portuguese team became inactive in early 2007 after attending the Samsung Euro Championship event in Hannover, with their players joining other teams or becoming inactive.

reDawn have now confirmed their return to activity with Ricardo "fox" Pacheco as CEO, maintaining his duties with k1ck, and a team composed of several experienced players that have been tempted out of retirement.

"The initial idea came from iNsideR as he wished to become active again, this time for real, and with the goal of taking the team back to the national top," Pacheco told Fraglider.

reDawn have a six-man roster that look as follows:

well n0rx was from k1ck,and the others were from exotic ,and they were in high competitions like eswc,wcg gamegune : / and i never saw a team from belgium participating at some high competition before

Guess you mate are wrong.. :) Former defusekids from Belgium participated GameGune replacing redCode, we even had Duncan playing with the Allstars alongside Swedens finest and others.. And TEK9 was at the WCG Grand Finals '08.. That's it for bashing your theory about none Belgian gamers at major tournaments. And imho I truly can add that I never heard of those players.

My lady, when stating at first 'never heard of anyone', even though I respect these kind of comments, you are not adding anything to this news thread. And you go even further when you refer, in a quite mocking ironic way, to what the team might have accomplished or that Portugal is a big nation regarding CS. And sure, you are not the only one posting irrelevant things. Finally, I am not the one taking away the freedom of speech but to use it the right way, with respect ;)

Imo he isn't rude, he just states loud and clear that he hasn't heard about these players, which apparently makes all Portuguese fanboys sad, which is sad itself. :P They should just leave it and let their players make themselves a name for emeliie.

There are many newsposts here of teams that i never heard of, but i don't go post "Who cares" or "Never heard of them" because of that. Just post if you want to, but try not to post bullshit (no offense to anyone). Ontopic, GL to the team, i hope they are in shape like they were back in the days, and i hope they can do some damage inside and outside .pt :)

They are some old school from Portugal, they have attended big events like eswc, but they never make difference. They are good players but they will probably be over when they see how cs is different... But I hope that doesn t happen, GL

they all made history in portuguese cs scene. They were all part of portuguese "dream team" exotic (less norx) along side with foxj, and, they were ranked as one of the best teams ever in our country. If you search in hltv demo database for "exotic" you will find them, and see how they were. :D
