Crack Clan change two
Crack Clan have confirmed they have undergone two roster changes to their Counter-Strike division.
The Finnish team were last seen on show at the IOL Final 4 event, where they crashed out at the semi-final stage following a 2-0 defeat at the hands of H2k-gaming.
Crack Clan have now confirmed that both Matti "SPIKEONE" Jarvinen and Miikka "dRiim" Toroi have been released from the team, being replaced by Excello pair Samu "plastE" Aalto and Max "ruuit" Aspe.
Contacted by HLTV.org, Niko "naSu" Kovanen cites the lack of quality material in Finland, and the fact the two new players are no strangers to the team, as the reasons Crack had to look at Excello for reinforcements.
"Obviously we had troubles making our way past groupstages in the last few tournaments, of course it was not their fault but things just did not click and we thought we needed a change," he told HLTV.org.
"There are not so many players on the market and all of us have played with these players in the past with good results."
Crack Clan, who have qualified for this year's World Cyber Games, are currently competing in the Finnish Extreme Masters qualifier, for which they will take on Elukkaveljekset tonight. Kovanen added that his side will look to attend an Extreme Masters Global Challenge in the future.
The Finnish team have now:
Joona "natu" Leppanen
Niko "naSu" Kovanen
Tino "tihOp" Puumala
Samu "plastE" Aalto
Max "ruuit" Aspe
Joona "natu" Leppanen
