Blight release US team
Blight Gaming have confirmed they have decided to release their Counter-Strike squad hailing from the United States.
The American team had recently made headlines when they announced that Kevin "aZn" Wang and Fadil "Nepo" Canovic had been brought in for the local WCG qualifier.
However, Blight have now announced the dismissal of the entire division due to their lack of stability and the fact that one more of their regular players would not be able to attend the WCG qualifier.
"We will be releasing our USA team due to the fact they have been unable to maintain a starting five as well as due to their lack of practice," Blight owner James "blackfoger" Larsen told GotFrag.com. Additionally, Dustin "dizzaman" Dilyerd would have been unable to attend WCG USA due to school.
Blight Gaming plan to announce a new American Counter-Strike team, which should happen within the space of a month.
Blight had the following team:
Dustin "dizzaman" Dilyerd
Chris "truls" Navratil
Dan "mehLer" Mehler
David "Xp3" Garrido
Kevin "aZn" Wang (WCG stand-in)
Fadil "Nepo" Canovic (WCG stand-in)
Dustin "dizzaman" Dilyerd
David "Xp3" Garrido
