Hellcase Cup 8 groups revealed

StarLadder have made public the groups for the upcoming Hellcase Cup 8, which is set to kick off on May 18.

Hellcase Cup 8 will feature four double-elimination groups with four teams in each. The winning side from each group will move on to a single-elimination playoff bracket, where they will be joined by four invited teams.

The $10,000 online cup's matches, which will also have an additional pool from crowdfunding, will be played integrally in best-of-threes, starting on May 18 and running through June 28.

Winstrike are currently the top-ranked team going into the group stage

The four teams hailing from the open qualifiers have each been placed in separate groups along with three invited teams. SG.pro have been pitted with Endpoint, Syman and LDLC in Group A, whereas Excellency will join Sprout, pro100 and Gambit Youngsters in Group B.

The Czech SINNERS roster has been placed in Group C, with SKADE, Secret and Nemiga, while NAVI Junior will face Japaleno, Winstrike and Hard Legion in Group D.

Virtus.pro, who won the last iteration of the cup under the AVANGAR banner, will join the fray in the playoffs alongside OG, Spirit, and one more invited team yet to be revealed.
