Alchemists make return
Team Alchemists have confirmed their return to activity with the former Vitriolic squad.
Alchemists had ceased operations in June upon watching their players move to Vitriolic, but the UK-based organisation's move for the ex-WICKED squad has prompted the Norwegian men to look for pastures new.
It had been confirmed that the Norwegian team would only depart Vitriolic after the KODE5 stop in the country in October, but it has now come to light that they have returned to Alchemists.
Tommy "tacky" Mosegaard has launched a scathing attack on Vitriolic manager "nordy", who had allegedly promised the team they would get "a second chance".
"After GameGune, we got some problems because we all contracted the swine flu virus, so could not start practicing until like a couple of weeks later," Mosegaard told HLTV.org.
"We had the Extreme Masters qualifier coming up, which we won, but for which we did not practice enough, so we knew we had a problem.
"We had to make a change, nordy was not happy about this, but we explained it to him, and Vitriolic agreed to give us a second chance. We had been talking a lot to nordy to make the arrangements [for KODE5 Norway], but he said he needed an answer from SteelSeries before.
"And last weekend we got informed that ex-WICKED would join, and they said they would send us to the KODE5 qualifier, but a couple of days later, nordy suddenly said he was not sending us anywhere, so we had to leave, just like that.
"He [nordy] said REAL had broken his promise to him, and that was the problem, but he now told us he was not the problem... we were... he had heard some things about us or something, we have no idea what it was, we would not tell us."
Despite confirming the arrival of Tormod "torri" Hetland while still at Vitriolic, Alchemists have announced he has been replaced by Gunnar "zEn" Eng.
"zEn was in the picture before torri but he had a personal problem. But after we got kicked from Vitriolic, zEn spoke to us and said that he was able to play Counter-Strike again." Mosegaard added. "So now we will just stick together with this line-up for a long time, I hope."
After losing the support of Vitriolic, Alchemists are now looking for a new organisation in time for KODE5 Norway, where they will feature the following roster:
Michael "mikkis" Sokki
Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard
Karl William "kalle" Haraldsen
Thomas "Vertigo" Andresen
Gunnar "zEn" Eng
Michael "mikkis" Sokki
