SteelSeries is celebrating the launch of the new version of its highly-successful Siberia headset, and although it will be available on the market only next month, we have one with us that is up for grabs!

What do you have to do to get your hands on this great product? You simply follow the following instructions:

I don't see the problem? There are a ton of competitions like this every day with regards to other things, so we just give people the same opportunity here.. We are still giving away prices before each big event, and we will certainly keep doing that.. I am sorry but the facts are that sending people all around the world e.g. to China, South Korea, Dubai and so on costs a lot of money, as does salaries to our small crew, we are just doing everything we can to make HLTV.org actually sustain itself.

There is a lot of young people visiting this site and probably some will fall for this. Maybe you think it's a great idea with gambling as a way to earn money but I just think it's wrong ^^

Well, to be honest, 2€ is not a fortune, and will not ruin anyones economy, and I have this belief that if you are old enough to have a phone that you can spend money from, then you should be old enough to manage it, else your parents are doing a bad job.. I honestly do not think we are misleading or tricking anyone here..

But if these kids go into "traps" like this, why are their parents giving them phones in the first place? I honestly do not feel this is something we are responsible for, the parents are responsible for their child, and such I fully expect them to have raised their children properly, but maybe that is too much to ask for in todays day and age..

Nowadays kids can have anything they want.. it's so obviuosly that you are trying to earn up easy money and that's bad. I think if you were so "honest" you would have set a minimum age for that.

Oh please, we have no way in hell of determining peoples age.. We are arranging a lottery, and we are using SMS as the payment method as it is something a lot of our users have, and yes a lot of our users are younger than 18, but I fully expect everyone with a phone capable of being used for payments have it cleared with their parents. I am truly shocked that you accuse us of trying to lure easy money away from kids, it isn't like we are earning a fortune on this, we are simply offering our users a way of getting their hands on a very cool headset, before it is even out in stores.. I think the 7 year history of HLTV.org history show that we are not some money making evil corporate machine, and I really wish people would give us the benefit of the doubt instead of just accusing us of the worst they can imagine.. The reason why I am answering all these posts is because it really gets to me personally when someone accuses HLTV.org of being unethical, I consider all actions HLTV.org take, no matter how big or small, and I always try to take the ethical road. If we wanted to we could probably easily lure away money from our users, but that is not at all what this is about. Fact of the matter is that advertising revenues in a world in a recession is impairing HLTV.org's growth meaning we cannot hire the people we'd like, we cannot send all the people onsite that we'd like, we cannot expand the site as we'd like, so instead of shutting down the site (which would be generating a huge loss if Martin and I were both drawing a salary) we are doing things like this where it is a hundred pro cent voluntarily if you wish to enter, and where the prices are quite good too if you ask me..

Yes, it is linked to your profile, try logging out, then the page will inform you you must be logged in to compete.. We of course do this to keep track of who wins! :)
