All Swedish final in Chengdu

It will be an all Swedish final at Global Challenge Chengdu, when SK Gaming tomorrow face fnatic.

SK Gaming came out on top of a tough match against TyLoo. The Chinese team continued their strong performance, that they have been displaying the entire tournament, which didn’t make it easy for SK Gaming to claim victory.

Winning first map nuke with 16-9, SK Gaming had the upper hand. On train TyLoo played a strong T side, taking 7 rounds against SK’s 8. Second half the teams went neck and neck, and it all came down to the 30th round, to determine if it was going to be a win for TyLoo, or overtime. TyLoo nailed it and won 16-14, forcing third map.

TyLoo came back into the match by winning second map

Third map inferno saw TyLoo take a solid lead before second half, winning 10-5 as T on inferno. SK Gaming had a long road ahead of them, but the Swedes believed in themselves, even with the Chinese fan-base shouting every round. Once again, it should be neck and neck in the end where SK had a 15-14 lead, before the last round. It was a clutch round, but it went to the Swedes, who claim 16-14 victory, winning 2-1 against TyLoo.

The third place match will start at 05:00CET and will feature HLTV. The Grand Final is scheduled for 07:30CET and will not feature HLTV.
