Singularity part ways with Jabbi
Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard is the second player to leave Singularity this month, with the 16-year-old set to join a new team after the player break.
Earlier in July, Daniel "mertz" Mertz announced he would be leaving Singularity for "a new challenge", with the young rifler jabbi seemingly on the same path. "I look forward to a new and exciting challenge after the player break", he said in a statement for the team website, and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to step into "the world of professional esports".

With just 34 HLTV maps played prior to joining Singularity, jabbi's exposure to top-level competition was limited before the start of this year. During his tenure in the Danish squad, Singularity peaked at #67 in the rankings and placed 11th in consecutive ESEA MDL Seasons.
jabbi didn't particularly stand out in the team, averaging a 0.93 rating in 2020, but Singularity CEO & founder Atle S. Stehouwer notes that "he’s been a vital player in our core and I believe there are levels to Jabbi that we haven’t seen yet". According to a recent report by DBLTAP, mertz is expected to become a part of the new Copenhagen Flames lineup, with the possibility of jabbi joining his teammate not off the table.
Meanwhile, Singularity have been seen playing with two new players during the last month, Anton "notaN" Pedersen and Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi, and have won five maps from sixteen played.
Singularity haven't announced the future of their lineup, but have been fielding the following roster in recent matches:
Tobias "TOBIZ" Theo
Casper "Celrate" Andersen
Emil "Remoy" Schlichter
Anton "notaN" Pedersen (stand-in)
Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi (stand-in)
