Apeks bench akez

The 28-year-old has been sidelined following a string of unsatisfactory results.

Apeks have moved rifler and in-game leader Kristian "⁠akez⁠" Kornbakk to the bench after two 13-16th place finishes in Vie.gg Legend Series and Nine to Five 4 Dawn as well as a 9-12th place in Eden Arena Malta Vibes Cup 10.

During his time with the team akez helped Apeks win Telia League, the Norwegian championship, three times since he joined in early 2019, but the Norwegian squad have not been able to show steady improvement internationally, where they have struggled to make deep runs in online cups and qualifiers.

akez is no longer a part of Apeks' active roster

The removal of akez from Apeks' starting five is the team's first roster change since before the player break, when Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman was signed in June following a stint as a stand-in with the Norwegian side.

The benching will take immediate effect and coach Pål "⁠Polly⁠" Kammen will return to the server as a stand-in, which he last did in April and May before dennis' acquisition, and will be in the starting lineup when Apeks face MIBR in the LOOT.BET Season 7 quarter-finals.

Tbh i can’t see why Apeks would bench Grus, he do be putting down numbers for them. If they were to bench someone for doplan and grux it would be either truth or marcelious, just because doplan (was/is?) an awper if i’m not mistaken

The replacement would probably be disco doplan, because I don’t know who else would be willing to lead them (perhaps RUBINO is back?) Maybe grux, Svedjehed, Peppzor or some unknown Norwegian talent, but dennis would have to be an in-game leader then.
