DreamHack Masters Winter qualifiers announced

The North American regional qualifiers will start the DreamHack Masters Winter action at the beginning of October, with the European teams playing last, in early November.

The tournament organizer has unveiled the dates for the qualifiers for DreamHack Masters Winter, the multi-regional event which is scheduled for late November and has a combined prize pool of $250,000. The open qualifiers will be starting shortly, though, with North America the region to kick things off.

First qualifiers will kick off almost two months before the event

Four teams will make it through the North American open qualifier on October 2-3, advancing to the closed qualifier on the following day where four more invited teams will join them in the fight for two main tournament slots.

Asia and Oceania will follow with open qualifiers on October 16-17, from where two teams will advance to the closed qualifier on October 18. Only one team from each qualifier will make their region's main event.

European action will come in last, with an open qualifier on November 3-4 and the closed one on November 5. The format is identical to the North American one, with a single-elimination bracket deciding the qualified teams.

DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 qualifier schedule:

North America North America: October 2-4
Oceania Oceania: October 16-18
Asia Asia: October 16-18
Europe Europe: November 3-5

Signups and more information about the event are available on DreamHack's website.

Just invite sAw to the closed qualifier, no need for a open qualifier for them.

Yeah sure, all the 4 continents of earth are here, we certainly didn't forget anyone -.- It' really sad that not only the African Gaming/CS-GO scene is absent, but it's not even getting the opportunity to show up or participate at any event at all!
