A shocking message has been dropped in Russia this morning – Denis "diNGo" Kolomenskiy has left Virtus.pro, just five days before WCG 2009.
Virtus.pro was yesterday confirmed in attending Arbalet Cup Europe qualifier in Moscow, alongside seven other high-class teams. This morning, out of nowhere, the team has announced the departure of Denis "diNGo" Kolomenskiy, with no reports as of why.
A huge blow for Virtus.pro on such short notice, attending the event of the year, World Cyber Games, which starts in just five days. To act as standin for Arbalet Cup Europe qualifier in Moscow and World Cyber Games 2009, will be the Virtus.pro and k23 manager Konstantin "groove" Pikiner.
groove coaching Team Russia at WCG 2008
Pikiner has before acted as standin for the Russian team, where he stepped back as active player several years ago. Pikiner will with the standin call be attending World Cyber Games 2009 as a player and the two-way manager will sees to find our ways to manage k23 during the tournament.
Virtus.pro have following lineup for World Cyber Games 2009:
Aleksey "LeX" Kolesnikov Roman "ROMJkE" Makarov Dmitriy "hooch" Bogdanov Nikita "Dio" Trifonov Konstantin "groove" Pikiner
Pikiner confirmed to HLTV.org, that a new player will be confirm in mid-December, which should also mean, that if Virtus.pro qualify for Arbalet Cup Europe, then Pikiner will be attending the event aswell, once again as a standin for Virtus.pro.
yeap man. it was stupid. before Qual for Arbalet Europe and WCG this move broke VP. And reason was that dinGo " not entered in collective ". And one more... they are promise sensational shifts after wcg. so will see...

I think what they pick up one Russian player. Becouse Adren for k23 the team leader and he will not left form k23 for sure. maybe it will be some one from forze - sally snoop F1_N or Dosia from CMAXgg

Good decision i think, but not before the WGC, however groove is a very solid player, i remember the virtus old times, he did his job perfectly when he playes in virtus, they must sign Dosia :P that will be good for them.
"Pikiner confirmed to HLTV.org, that a new players..." new players? another member will be kicked soon? he mean the new player not? Maybe i misunderstand this, help me :D
edit: Dont forget groove is a tactical master, his replacement before the WCG 5 days is not a big problem for virtus, it think he knows all the tactics what virtus use this days.
sry 4 my english ;>

since there is no info why he left,it must have been his own decision to leave, because if VP had kicked him, they would have told why. That's just my opinion :)
