SoA invited to DreamHack Winter
23-11-2009 13:37
After failing to win the Danish qualifier for DreamHack Winter, Spirit of Amiga has now been invited to the event.
The team crashed in the semi-final at the Danish qualifier, and would seek other pathways in order to qualify. The team had planned to attend the BYOC qualifier, played on Thursday, but today the team has received an invite for the tournament.
DreamHack furthermore announce that Vinnarlaget, the winner of DreamHack Skellefteå IV, has been replaced by runner-up from 0bites, as the champions could not attend the event. This means that the participants list for DreamHack Winter currently looks as follows:
Twenty-five teams so far, additional four teams will qualify via the BYOC qualifier, one direct invite is to be handed out, one team will qualify in via a PlayZeek ladder, while the last spot (suppose to be the winner of the Romanian qualifier), is yet to be determined, what will happen to.
HLTV.org will be on site in Jönköping this weekend, to bring you all of the action from DreamHack Winter. Stay tuned for more updates, as the group draw for the event, should be coming fairly soon.
