mousesports have completed the signing of Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer, who will join the team January 2010.

Reports in early November indicated that mousesports would be signing the Alternate-star Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer. The latest addition to mousesports, Christopher "cash" Steen was benched short before WCG 2009 and sixth-man Christian "Blizzard" Chimel would play the remaining matches in the German ESL Pro Series plus WCG 2009.

The team used mystical Lambda member Direnc "seraph" Öz for WCG 2009 event and speculations were many, in regards of mousesports changing lineup.

Alternate today announce the departure of last ESL Pro Series season's Most Valuable Player,Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer, who on the team's website said that he would probably not play Counter-Strike 1.6 much longer, so it was one last time to try out mousesports. Alternate will however not let go of the German mad-fragger until January 2010, meaning he will be attending.

mousesports for 2010 will look as follows:

Navid "Kapio" Javadi
Antonio "cyx" Daniloski
Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer
Manuel "Tixo" Makohl
Fatih "gob b" Dayik

With the departure of Ausserdorfer, Alternate have completed the signing of Direnc "seraph" Öz from mystical Lambda, who will join the team January 2010. Alternate have furthermore extended the contract with the four remaining players.

Being the Most Improved Player of the previous ESL Pro Series season, Öz has already proven himself to the German as well as the International scene.

Alternate for 2010 will consist of following:

Roman "Roman R." Reinhardt
Direnc "seraph" Öz
Manuel "approx' Zeitz
Jan "mooN" Stolle
Benjamin "paN" von Mulert

The last show of Ausserdorfer in Alternate will be at the German ESL Pro Series finals, taking place 12-13th of December.

awesome, this team will probably be one of the top teams in 2010 if they get their things going, roman is one of the best players atm, and this probably brings motivation to the rest of the guys.

Good move for mouz. I never personally liked seraphs play but for sure this was a 'unfortunate' move for Alternate. I hope Alternate can still perform at a high level. I acctually prefer them over mouz becuase of the attitude mouz seems to have.

It feels like a slap in the face of an aTTaX fan. But I can understand his dicision to play a last year some major tournaments. What I don't understand is why mouz don't let cash play the rest of the season. In my opinion cash is even stronger than Kapio. And Blizzard actually doesn't want to play anymore anyway... I would have changed Kapio for roman and kept cash or take approx. Stupid decision, policy!

Nice swap, now I just think they should remove Kapio or Tixo, I doubt one change is enough. seraph is a great addition for Alternate, he of course is not as good as roman, but if roman chose to move, you have to do what you can, and they imo did. I actually think Alternate > mousesports. Btw, seraph is Turkish.

they should remove kapio no doubt. he is the weakest part of the team and tixo showed some good moves in the last games. we will see what happen after the eps finals :) imo cash should replace kapio but that will never happen :/
