Hello and welcome to the first episode of HLTV Peek, our new show that will allow you to catch up on the biggest and most important stories in Counter-Strike in a swift and fun way.

The Americas RMR was the biggest story of the first episode

The first episode is hosted by Anastasija "Heccu" Tolmaceva and covers the Americas and Asia RMR tournaments, as well as previews the road to the PGL Antwerp Major for the European teams. Hear what happened to Evil Geniuses, how Liquid and FURIA fared, and what Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo's "Last Dance" managed at the LAN event in Romania.

I agree with you. Part of why they hired her might be her russia language skills and such. But I agree the she should train her english. Its even more apparent when she tries so hard to make her questions more complex than necessary.

Decent idea, but I dont think it can hold on every week. This collected information is from more than a week length and it is particularly stacked in events and action. That won’t happen anywhere close every week.

I mean, the podcast always have the recent news segment and is already happening almost every week. It might be a shorter video in some weeks, but there'll always be something to report.

Good format, I hope the news are "more recent" in the next video. I know it takes time to produce but they are only worthwhile if they feature all news even from the last 24h. Another thing: those videos get way more exposure if they are clearly visible and accessible from the front page and not embedded inside an article that you have to navigate to.
