Begrip Gaming have announced the additions of Daniel "rape" Börzsönyi and Danny "pop" Oldenburg to the line-up.

The Swedish team were on the lookout for fresh blood after watching Samuel "Zyppe" Martinsson leave for H2k-Gaming last week.

Begrip have now confirmed that Jonathan "lidde" Lidgren too is on the list of departures due to the team's wish to have a player that could bring something new to the fare.

"We had already talked after Arbalet about replacing lidde, we just did not go official about it until now," Richard "Xizt" Landström told HLTV.org. "liddle is like a newcomer, he does not have much experience and that is what we wanted."

The pair have been replaced by Danny "pop" Oldenburg, who was last seen playing alongside Erik "zeki" Mattsson in Hardwire, and former Volt Gaming member Daniel "rape" Börzsönyi.

"We picked up rape because we needed a player that could defend a bombiste alone on certain maps and he is the perfect man for that job," Landström added. "pop joined because we wanted that player with more experience."

Begrip Gaming's debut with the new line-up will be at the IOL Finals on January 31, where they will feature:

Markus "pronax" Wallsten
Andrè "BARBARR" Möller
Richard "Xizt" Landström
Daniel "rape" Börzsönyi
Danny "pop" Oldenburg

Sick roster, pop is really good, one of the best unknown players outside Sweden and rape is just a beast. This roster is better than their previous one. * Yes fury plays for ENERIC with seAzon,keiz,floreNz and kylie And everyone is saying BARBARR is the next big player out of Sweden, but watch out for Xizt he is nutty.

I didn't really understand, are you saying that rape means something else with his nick, and not the English word rape? I don't think he cared that much what it meant when he "chose" it as his alias, he probably just thought it was cool and sounded good. As far as I know, rape has no meaning in Swedish. :P

I can't think of any Swedish meaning for the word rape except rapé which has connection with snuff (Göteborgs rapé) and he might refer to that. But you might be right, maybe he didn't think he'd be a big player so he just picked an random nick to use. :D
