Ledpc win KODE5 Spain Regional

Ledpc have qualified for KODE5 2010 Grand Finals, following the victory against lastshow in the Grand Final at KODE5 Spain Regional.

The qualified staged in Zaragoza had gathered the best Spanish teams, expect x6tence, who had called a no-show. It was expected to be Ledpc and Unibet, who would fight for the top spot. The teams clinched swords in the upper-bracket final, in a match, where Unibet did not stand many chances. Ledpc marched on with a 16-7 victory on de_inferno and had qualified for the Grand Final.

Unibet waited in the Consolidation Final, to learn what team they would face next. To fight Unibet was lastshow, who had just come off victories against Wizards and Wildlions. Once again, Unibet had hard time, this time playing de_train. There should be no time for revenge against Ledpc, as lastshow eliminated Unibet 16-2 and moved on to face Ledpc.

The two teams started off on de_dust2, with Ledpc on the stronger T-side. It did however not start strong for Ledpc, who saw lastshow deny them to win the pistol-round, followed by a series of buy-rounds for Ledpc. Something kicked in and Ledpc managed to get seven rounds, while lastshow scored eight, but certainly with the option in scoring a lot more. Ledpc managed to pick up CT pistol-round and that kick-started a great defensive side. Two rounds was all lastshow managed to get, before Ledpc closed it down with a 16-10 victory.

Broken tag

With the victory, Ledpc qualify for KODE5 2010 Grand Finals, yet to be announced date and location of. So far only one team is qualified for the event, being the Norwegian team of LatterLigLett. We will be back with more, such as demos and photos from the two day action in Zaragoza.
