Playoffs structure changed

Arbalet Cup Asia 2010 will kick off tomorrow with the group stage, changes to the playoffs drop in prior to tournament start.

We earlier this week announced that the playoffs at Arbalet Cup Asia 2010 would be played best-of-three maps in a double-elimination bracket. Yesterday at a dinner party with Arbalet, it was agreed that the structure should change.

It will still be double-elimination, now playing best-of-three in the upper-bracket, while it will be best-of-one map in the lower-bracket, the Grand Final will be played best-of-two sets, meaning the team from the lower-bracket will have to win two times best-of-three. The playoffs at Arbalet Cup Asia 2010 will be played on Sunday.

The tournament will kick off Saturday at 10:00 local time (05:00CET), while the day will be finished with the All-Star tournament. Make sure to stay locked to HLTV.org during Saturday and Sunday, as we will be your coverage source from Arbalet Cup Asia 2010.
