The move leaves the team with three active players.

MIBR have moved Henrique "⁠HEN1⁠" Teles to the bench, the Brazilian AWPer revealed on Tuesday. He stated in his announcement that "many will try to understand, just like me," and that he was surprised by the move, but that he is looking to the future and hopes that his performance on MIBR will draw the interest of new organizations.

The 27-year-old PGL Major Krakow finalist spent nearly a year under the MIBR banner, averaging a 1.21 rating over 240 maps, but couldn't maintain that level offline against international competition as his performance dropped to a dismal 1.04 rating over 46 maps.

HEN1 has been benched by MIBR

The team found some success in online competitions with HEN1, winning CCT Central Europe Series 1, and particularly excelled in North America as they won CCT North America Series 4 and three seasons of ESL Challenger League.

However, the roster suffered early exits in all of their offline tournament appearances and failed to find international success, paving the way for multiple moves during the off-season in hopes of curtailing that trajectory with the organization also announcing the benching of Matheus "⁠Tuurtle⁠" Anhaia last month.

Brother, i fucking love that Immortals roster but that major was absolutely dogwater of a fluke. Immortals had the easiest path to a major win and they fucking threw it. They got lucky in swiss by getting 2 matchups against trash cis teams (but hats off for them by beating navi, but thats the only tier 1 match they had in the entire major). Quarters they get BUG clan without being able to use the jump bug, semis they had VP in crisis (which also got another easy matchup in Quarters), and then out of all possible teams, its fucking gambit, with 2 bots, a bot igl who can call and 2 decent fraggers. Any gamersclub lv 20 pug team would have SHAT on that gambit roster, but immortals fucking threw it. They could have won a major by only beating tier 2 teams, but thanks to kng & friends mou is a major winner, dosia has a graffiti and adreN is a major MVP. This was way more embarrassing than losing 7-1 to Jermany. I love the players but i pray to god that we never have a villa mix 2.0 again. We dont need fucking content, we need TROPHIES, SILVERWARE

Oh, really, these are people who fucked up everything because of alcohol))) They were late for the semifinals and finals, FNS, a CLG player joked on this topic: "It's a shame to lose to a team that played with a hangover," and then kNgV answered with death threats... The only ones who deserve Respect among Brazilian players are steel and boltz. I don't understand what's wrong with the fact that the Gambits won the major, they spent a total of 700 hours in the game in training before the major, while the drunks spent 200. And do not forget that the Gambits smashed the prime at that time Astralis, who in turn smashed everyone's favorite SK.

Have you watched the finals? Immortals literally had the game in their hands and they threw it. It should have been a 2-0 for them. Im not backing them tho, they were supposed to win and lost due skill issue. It was just gambit who happened to be a lottery winner in the major finals, but they had a much harder patch to the finals (despite astralis choking to them) than immortals, so the major win was deserved, but its totally KNG fault and every kazak cs fan should hang a picture of kng in their room and pay him respect for gifting a major to your country

Ofc I watched, for us at that time it was the final between an upstart kid and legendary players, the Immortals won their peak, and Gambit won their peak, and finished off on the final map. On the quals Immortals almost fucked up everything and ate out 3 - 2 While the Gambit went 3-0, defeating the G2 primers at that time, whom coldzera was afraid of))) And here Kazakhstan as a whole does not understand, the organization was completely British, and the Kazakhs were only in the composition... Here you are infuriating with your opinion, they are from the CIS, so it's just garbage that accidentally made it to the final, the Gambits were a very strong line-up in which there were legendary players from the post-Soviet space and the only noname person (relatively to others) for us was Hobbit.

That's solid bullshit, art could go full entry, that's ok, but I feel FalleN's time has passed. Don't get me wrong he's a top tier mastermind and can play with his back against the wall and turn a round around, but coaching is a better call for him and maybe he could see the Brazilian scene flourish again, but now away from his shadow. HEN1 should be in the team, chelo as well, if he behaves as an athlete and maybe Furia could build something in a couple of years should they move to Europe.

Like I feel like the lineup will die without fallen. I know imperial has been around a while. The org will struggle to be at this level now I’m thinking with what is available to replace fallen

BR does look like missing good igls, but I think in some ways CS is transitioning into being not too reliant on good igls, that being said, a coach could have that leadership role and the igl only needs to be able to guide the team throughout the rounds. I think Imperial is here to stay.
