BLAST Fall Final playoff bracket set

The quarter-final teams still need one more win to make it to the Royal Arena.

The group stage is done and dusted in Copenhagen and the playoff teams for the BLAST Premier Fall Final are now known.

Cloud9 will take on HEROIC in one quarter-final, with Vitality awaiting the winner in the semi-finals. On the other side of the bracket Natus Vincere face off against Complexity, with FaZe next up for the winner.

The quarter-finals will take place in a studio environment on Friday, with play moving to the Royal Arena for the semi-finals onwards.

HEROIC are the biggest shock to have made it to the playoffs stage, with the Danish squad fielding what is essentially a mix team that only had one week of practice heading into the event.

An expected loss against Vitality began Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller's Last Dance with HEROIC, but they rallied to upset their bitter rivals Astralis in dramatic fashion to stay alive in Copenhagen.

The other team to exceed expectations was Cloud9, who not only triumphed in a grudge match with Natus Vincere to kick off their campaign, but also ran FaZe dangerously close in the upper bracket final.
