BLAST has announced the four groups for their BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024, the first international LAN after the winter tournament break. The 16 partner teams will take the field in Copenhagen, Denmark between January 22-28 to compete for six spots at the Spring Final in June.

BLAST’s $190,000 event will feature a best-of-three double elimination group stage to kick things off, with the group winners set to secure a Spring Final spot, while the runners-up will battle it out for the remaining two spots.

This year's edition of Spring Groups will feature four more teams, namely Falcons, Virtus.pro, Spirit, and GamerLegion, alongside a format change that removes "all redundant matches."

Group A

Vitality

Astralis

Falcons

Group A is headlined by Vitality, who are joined by Astralis in the group, with the Danes looking to get up to speed with new additions Martin "⁠stavn⁠" Lund and Jakob "⁠jabbi⁠" Nygaard. Falcons, who are yet to debut with their newly assembled roster, have also been put into Group A alongside another fresh roster in OG.

Group B

Spirit, who made waves by the signing of Dmitry "⁠sh1ro⁠" Sokolov in December, are joined by Liquid in Group B. FaZe come into the group as the highest-ranked squad and are set to meet Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski's GamerLegion in the opener.

Group C

Natus Vincere

Complexity

Ninjas in Pyjamas

Group C features three top 10 teams in G2, Natus Vincere, and the sole North American representative, Complexity. Ninjas in Pyjamas are the final team in the group, and the Alejandro "⁠alex⁠" Masanet-led squad will face off against G2 to start the tournament.

Group D

The new HEROIC roster has been assigned to Group D alongside two Russian teams in Virtus.pro and Cloud9, with BIG joining the action as the final team of the group.

top10 teams cant be all winning or competing for titles with good frequency. what you describe is called Elite or S tier teams. which is basically top3-top5. tier1 is top10-top15. teams which are participating in the tier1 tournaments.

Summing up rankings of the teams scores are: A: 69 (no new team) B: 81 (but luiqid is "unranked" and should be a top 10 contender) ) C: 44 (no new team) D: 79 (but Heroic is "unranked" and should be a top 10 contender) If we place the new teams on place 10 scores would be: A: 69 B: 43 C: 44 D: 40 D > B > C > A.
