ESL Pro League Season 19 - Playoffs

Format

- You can create your teams on the Fantasy page here.

- 16-team single-elimination bracket.

- MOUZ, Vitality, Complexity, Astralis start from Quarter-finals; 3DMAX, TheMongolz, Liquid, Natus Vincere start from Round 2; the rest of the teams start from Round 1.

- All matches are BO3 except BO5 grand final.

Teams

Things to note 

- Padding will be awarded for each round skipped. Therefore, players starting from Quarter-finals will get 12 points by default while teams starting from Round 2 will receive 6 points.

- The BO5 grand final will offer a 1.25x points multiplier.

Prizes 

- The users can count on season points and skin prizes as follows.

1. Hydra Gloves | Emerald (Field-Tested)
2. AK-47 | Asiimov (Field-Tested)
3. AWP | Hyper Beast (Field-Tested)

if early rounds have multiple upsets then padding is good. If Faze+G2 dominate into quarters then padding is a miss

Are you talking about EPL? Has this format not been used in the last 3 season's of EPL or am I slow?

No they changed the format for this one because EPL previously was on for way too long (5 Weeks) With the new format it's now 2 Weeks and 5 days.

Because a player price is correlated to the player rating AND to the player's team ranking compared to the rest of the competition. While MOUZ was the second highest ranked team in group A&B, now they are third in the playoffs.

Honestly, i wouldnt mind earning some decent fantasy pts. But for some reason I'm more hoping some something completely unthinkable to happen. Like a Mongolz vs Liquid Grand Final. No not because i'm a huge Liquid fanboy or anything. I just think it would be completely unexpected and make for some damn exciting games to watch. If anything I doubt I doubt they make it past Astralis. With half of the top teams having to take the same path to the final, We already know 2 of Faze, Navi and Vitality will be eliminated already.
