compLexity releases CS squad

compLexity have announced the release of their Counter-Strike 1.6 squad, following recent performances and other matters.

The North American squad recently attended the Intel Extreme Masters IV World Championship, where they claimed fourth place in their group, which did not allow them to participate further in the tournament. As of latest, the team this weekend only managed a fourth place at the ESEA Season 5 LAN Finals in Dallas.

The compLexity organization this evening announced the release of the squad, base on recent performances, dedication and a lack of involvement and interaction with the compLexity community.

"It's no secret that we've struggled to find a consistent roster over the past 12 months. Despite the fact that we experienced some success, internal issues always seemed to derail the squad's momentum.  All of the players are great people who are very skilled at the game, but the championship passion and chemistry that defines the compLexity name has eluded us. We are currently evaluating the scene and are considering both American and European options to replace the current roster. We wish the players the very best with everything, both in and out of game." - said Jason Lake, CEO of compLexity Gaming on the compLexity website.

Former compLexity now to look for a new home

compLexity consisted of following:

United States Andrew "Irukandji" Timmerman
United States Ryan "NineSpot" Bell
United States Thomas "thoMz" Garcia
United States Derek "dboorN" Boorn
United States Derrick "impulsive" Truong

The five players are now free agents on the marked, which possibly could ignite a shake-up of the lower-tier teams below the all dominant force Evil Geniuses. compLexity states they have intentions to announce a new squad soon.

Being sponsored does not mean that they are part of an organization as such, right? And in the end, everything can be discussed ;)

Sure thing, but why would they want the trouble of having an (international) organisation when they just can rely on mr. i-have-way-too-much-money-so-i-spend-insane-amounts-of-them-on-cs ? no ukrainian organisation could match up mr. arbalet im pretty sure and with an international organisation, communication problems will follow.

As said, these kind of things should be, and can be, discussed :) I know that teams look for an organization, mainly, for economical support (which is something that Na'Vi do not seem to lack) but also 1) coL is interested in a winning (and also stable) team and 2) Arbalet might be interested in coL's "involvement" to "advertise" his CS efforts beyond Eastern borders. I presume interesting projects, not only coL's new team, could be the result of this potential "cooperation".

Good point. I would, however, be extremely surprised if an american organisation would ever come to pick up an eastern european team. But yes, skillwise and in most aspects, Na'Vi would be a great fit for them.

hahahahahaah, they cut hero and evo, this is what they get :) bring back method from DINC and Volcano...Volcano is still ridiculous, but he doesn't play seriously :( they should pickup playzone.se, Na`Vi, MYM,(they don't really need one) or FireGamers.. it would be fucking awesome if jason lake picked up Firegamers (who could be a top5 team imo) so they can bootcamp in sweden and play at more events like they were able to with old mibr backing them up.. coL pick up FG or Playzone Please!!!

youre an idiot. Evo has a bad attitude. Hero wasn't cut for his skill. He couldn't dedicate time. Which says a lot because coL themselves weren't even that commited because they were distracted by school. Which imo is why this happend in the first place. They had the talent, they just weren't focused on cs.

yeah i think that firegamers would be an intresting move :D.they are xtremely talented by they lack of money, practice.maybe motivation..a move to the states and the ability to join huge lans and international event would be sweet. You know fg was one of the three teams that beated fnatic last year.(the other two were SK and FX)i'm saying three because i can only remember three i'm sure they were more hahah.. So coL pick FG or collaborate with mister arbalet to make the most prestigious gaming organisation ever :)

you have no idea what you're talking about, so stfu please. volcano hasn't played since coL.cs and he wasn't that great. method is bottom in stats for DINC. playzone.se is garbage. they aren't even top 5 in Sweden, so why would jlake pick up a team that can't compete internationally, because Sweden makes up a large majority of the international scene. MYM sponsor > coL sponsor Mibr sponsorship > coL sponsorship, so FG will probably go to MIBR if they go anywheres.

coL, cut the american pride and bring a european team that can bring your name back to the map again. when it comes to the american scene, i think EG has no competition... so they need a european team. although it's complicated since the management is from USA. anyway, take Na`Vi, UNiTED or FireGamers, that's the best thing they can do for the organisation.

the team that complexity just released was pretty much together for over a year, cbteam formed a month ago. coL also did better at events than cbteam, so all the norwegians shouldnt hold their breath for anything.

If coL goes international then they should pick up Na'Vi or Fire Gamers. If they stay local then it'll most likely be Excello or Loaded since those are the only good teams in the US.

in my opinion, I think they should pick up two strong veterans and three new raw aimers. it will be nice to not only give new players a chance, but it will make the new coL unpredictable because people won't know what to expect of them if they haven't played them before.

good idea, though it'll need some time before they can make some good performance... and i doubt the coL management can wait that long. I mean, it looks like J.Lake desperately want to win something ASAP :D
