fnatic replace Cloud9 at YaLLa Compass
Cloud9 have pulled out of the event as they are not able to register a full roster in time.

The YaLLa Compass organizers have announced that fnatic will take the place of Cloud9 at the event, as the American organization failed to register a complete roster before the deadline.
Cloud9 recently sold Denis "electroNic" Sharipov to Virtus.pro and benched Abay "HObbit" Khassenov and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy, which left the team without a full roster and forced them to withdraw from ESL Pro League S19, BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, and now Yalla Compass.

Replacing Cloud9 are fnatic, who are set to make their LAN debut with Benjamin "blameF" Bremer. The team played only one event since the Dane's signing, CCT Global Finals 2024, where they suffered a group-stage exit after losses to GamerLegion and ENCE despite blameF putting up a 1.23 rating.
YaLLa Compass will be played in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and feature a $400,000 prize pool. The event will begin with two six-team BO1 round-robin groups, which will feed into a six-team playoff bracket.
The team list for the tournament is:
