The Chinese squad made their second roster change of the summer.

Starry left Lynn Vision after three years

TYLOO have announced the signing of Lizhi "⁠Starry⁠" Ye from Lynn Vision to complete their roster before the Shanghai Major qualification process gets underway.

Starry becomes the second ex-Lynn Vision player to make the jump to TYLOO after the Chinese organization completed the signing of Dongkai "⁠Jee⁠" Ji in June.

Starry represented Lynn Vision for three years and made his first breakthrough in the tier-one scene at the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021, where he famously clutched a 1v5 situation against G2.

The Chinese rifler has shown fantastic form during 2024, too, averaging a 1.19 rating across 67 maps of play, which helped Lynn Vision briefly enter the top 30 and solidify their status as the No. 2 team in Asia.

The new-look TYLOO will debut against Gaimin Gladiators at XSE Pro League 2024, a LAN tournament set to take place in Quzhou, China, from August 3-6.

i couldn't find the exact points per placement in the blast spring showdown but i think dead last gets 0 points and 2nd to last gets 64 points and that would put them ahead of lynn vision on ESL rankings

the rank cut off is the 8th August. Valve only uses HLTV matches so Asia gets fucked cause ECL group stage and online cups for Asia arent on here so the rankings are dogshit + OCE ECL group stage is on HLTV so all the teams in asia ranking are basically australian rn. Tyloo are 12-2 or something in ECL but have gotten 0 points for it, perhaps if those matches actually counted they would get the invite

They honestly need to force the admin to add the asian ECL on hltv. He already added Oceania ECL, but for some reason he wont add the asian ECL. I remember someone said its beacause of the round robin format, but OCE has the same format so I think the admin is just lazy/biased.

Well the thing is Dank1ng became a massive streamer while he was benched. He is probably one of the biggest if not the biggest CS/Valorant streamer in China. He himself has said that he enjoys streaming much more because it causes less stress for him and he makes more money doing it.

Gotta appreciate the hustle of TYLOO management. Considering how so many teams have ultimately been destroyed by them poaching talent only to bolster their own bench, if TYLOO gives everyone in China a contract they may very well be able to make it through the Asian RMR.
