Unibet shut down team
Team Unibet have announced they have parted company with their Counter-Strike division.
The future of the Spanish had been up in the air for some time following disappointing campaigns in EPS and KODE5, finishing in fifth place in both events.
According to a post on Unibet's blog, the Spanish organisation, who boasts the sponsorship of the famous gambling company, will not give up on esports just yet, and will take this hiatus to reflect on future operations.
Unibet rose to fame at GameGune 2009, where they defeated Alternate in the brackets, but had struggled to make their mark since then, finishing rock bottom of their group at the Intel Extreme Masters European Championship.

With x6tence currently looking for three new faces, the Spanish giants have been strongly linked with a move for Unibet's players.
"This is a very sad day for me and my team-mates," Roberto "dIka" López Gallego told Unibet's blog. "Today a cycle ends, which looked really good at the beginning but eventually faded little by little as time passed by."
Team Unibet had the following players:
Roberto "dIka" López Gallego
Omar "arki" Chakkor Feltrer
José Vicente "Spanisfury" González Moreno
Francisco "FamseK" Alarcón
Francisco "hAder" Vázquez
