LowLandLions drop CS team

LowLandLions have opted to drop their current Counter-Strike team, just two months after they picked them up.

Back in February, LowLandLions announced their new team which they hoped could stand up against international competition and especially in the Benelux region. Unfortunately this goal was not achieved, and there is reason to believe that the team's poor performance at The Party 8 LAN this weekend played a key note in LowLandLions' decision. 

According to their website, the organization will also pause their focus on competitive Counter-Strike for a while.

"Due to disappointing results we have decided to stop our cooperation with the current CS Team. For now we will not immediately replace this team however who knows what the future might bring...", managing director Birger "M2X" de Geyter told the team's website.

"We will be keep our eyes open and evaluate opportunities should these be presented. I wish the players the best of luck and I do hope they can find their way to the top once again."

What the future holds for the team is uncertain, whether they will stay together or part ways.
