CHEAPTIMES switch three

CHEAPTIMES have made their line-up official with the arrival of three players.

The changes to the Danish team come just days after they lifted the Danish Championship trophy at Copenhagen Games following a 2-1 victory over mTw in the Grand Final.

From the winning quintet, only Timm "ArcadioN" Henriksen and Christian "turkizh" Bindslev remain, with Morten "suraNga" Jensen, Søren "funatic" Nilsson and Martin "woodi" Holm all shown the exit door.

Stepping in will be Rasmus "FaagaN" Thomsen from Roskilde Ravens, as well as ex-Ab Ovo duo Finn "karrigan" Andersen and Nicolaj "Nuggi" Larsen, with Henriksen stating a quality jump has occured.

"I felt that we are more competitive with this line-up, with almost no weaknesses. Having four players on the Danish ENC squad speaks for itself, and and I'm sure Nuggi would be the next one asked to be there, had someone from the team declined" Henriksen told HLTV.org.

Henriksen noted he is confident CHEAPTIMES, who are currently looking for an organisation, have the necessary quality to retain the number-one status in the country they claimed at the weekend.

"I wouldn't have started playing seriously again if I didn't feel we had a chance to become the best," he added. "We have exceptional indiviual players, but it will take time and effort for us to think CS the same way.

"Most of us haven't played team CS together before, so that'll be a challenge, I just hope we can overcome that and become a team to fear. Teaming up with an organisation is by far the best way to go, and we have already initiated negotiations with some."

The Man was on fire when vs MTW, but i dont think he is that quality. This is a great team any way, hope they will bang out ravens in the future!!(just for turkizh)

don't know what you are talking about. nuggi is really good at all weapons what i've seen in his matches. always nice positioning and really smart play. they won't regret their decision

No, they don't. FaagaN was interviewed by xplayn.com and he said they were far from being #1 in Denmark. You should blame MIRAA if you're going to blame someone for the mistake :)

Who would leave a sponsored organization that goes to international events, to join one that has a "nice line up" but no sponsor and probably will die sooner than later? Dumb move FaagaN in my opinion, because when this organization dies...if it dies. Ravens would no longer trust him to jump back on their team. That's how i see it really... I rather join a stable organization than a possible one if i were in their places.

dude, Ravens tried FaagaN out for a month and it just didn't work out for neither of the two parties and so they decided to try out nexiz while FaagaN found this project. it was just for the best, for both sides.

good to see turkizh back in action. they made the right decision removing those three players, not that they're bad, not at all, but because they simply do not fit into a team, at least not a team who wants to fight among the top tier teams. looks like a really solid team and im actually having a hard time to find a, or the, weak link in the team. the only thing that crossed my mind is if karrigan and Nuggi can keep playing their game against the tough dogs like SK, fnatic, mouz - in difference to playing a struggling mTw. i guess we'll have to wait and find out - if they manage to find an organisation that is.

really nice lineup

As several people have said already, I'm surprised to see suranga having to leave. He was the guy I was the most impressed with in the former lineup. Granted, I've only seen a couple of games of his. Could someone from Denmark who's seen more of him tell me how they feel about him? Nixon perhaps?

He lacks experience and consistency. + these guys are more of teamplayers than he is. But of course he is a good aimer, as you probably saw at Copenhagen Games.

ab ovo and cheaptimes are two different teams. ab ovo will still play the eps nordic though it is their slot. could be possible that arcadion will join the team and they will play the further matches

turkizh and nuggi are not so experienced but in gameplay turkizh is IMO the best in that team he's just very talented =) i hope to see a top3 denmark team for sure! mby even top1 =P
