Jimpphat extends MOUZ contract

The Finnish rifler has put an end to the speculation about his future.

Jimpphat will stay in MOUZ for the foreseeable future

MOUZ have announced they have extended Jimi "⁠Jimpphat⁠" Salo's contract for an undisclosed amount of time. The news comes after the Finn was linked with an off-season switch to Falcons.

Jimpphat joined in July 2023 after he was promoted from the MOUZ NXT roster and won three trophies under the German organization, namely ESL Pro League Seasons 19 and 20, as well as BetBoom Dacha Belgrade.

He was impressive during 2024 and averaged a 1.12 rating overall, which earned him 17th place in HLTV's Top 20 players of the year list.

"I'm super happy to continue my journey with MOUZ," Jimpphat says. "I believe in this team, and I'm excited to see what we can achieve together in the coming years. We have a great group of guys, and I'm confident that we can accomplish great things."

"We are incredibly excited to have Jimpphat continue his journey with MOUZ," Jan Dominicus, CBDO at MOUZ, adds.

"This contract extension is a testament to our commitment to nurturing young talent and building a long-term competitive roster."

MOUZ will play their first match of 2025 at BLAST Bounty Season 1, where they will face off against BetBoom in the first round.

Yeah, but it is directly quoted in the article above. I mean you'd be calling the writer or interviewer a liar. Which, could be true obviously, just not sure it would be worth making up a quote. And if it was said, it seems to indicate a multi year deal IMO. Though sometimes there are syntax and diction errors when people speak different languages that may change the meaning of what they were attempting to say.

it matters in that i can tell with certainty that the video is a prepared statement, whereas the context for the quote in article is unclear. hence, i consider the video to be the more authoritative statement so far.

You have no verification that jimmi in a video is any more or less of a liar, than the guy writing the article would be more of less of a liar. They both could be bullshitting you, but most likely neither of them are. And while the context for the quote is unclear, because none is given, there isn't context that would change the quote lmfao. That is a direct statement and a full thought.

this is not rocket science. i know in which context Jim says things on the video, since i can watch the video. a quote that happens in text only has unknown context, and i'm not going to treat it as seriously as what Jim says on the video. feel free to come back to this if he's playing 2026 kato in mouz.

Even if he is playing then it doesn't change the fact that your threshold for if a statement is valid or contains all the information is just off. And meanwhile you have no idea if jimmi made a syntax or diction error in the video or not. Also, people just lie. Not saying this is one of those situations or anything worth lying about, but that holds true for both instances.

i think that both statements can be off by the way of human error. what i know is that the one that made it into the video is unlikely improvised, and should have been checked/signed-off by multiple people. the circumstances of the statement off the video are entirely unknown to me, and i'm not required to take it at the exact same value as the video.
