PGL Bucharest playoff bracket set

Falcons and G2 are drawn on opposite sides of the bracket in what might be m0NESY's last event before swapping sides.

The PGL Bucharest playoff bracket has been set after an upset-laden group stage.

Aurora, on debut in new colors after their move from Eternal Fire, enter as favorites with asterisks on their three highest-ranked competitors: G2 know this may be Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov's last dance, whilst FaZe and Falcons limped through the group stage.

The MongolZ, Liquid, and Astralis all missed out despite entering among the top-eight ranked teams with 3DMAX, Complexity, and GamerLegion profitting.

Virtus.pro round out the list and will face G2 in their quarter-final, on the same side of the bracket as Complexity and Aurora.

Falcons have a chance for revenge against GamerLegion, while 3DMAX will play FaZe for the first time since a meeting of their cores in October 2021.

The studio playoffs, beginning tomorrow, will also feature a third-place decider, with $150k on offer for 3rd and just $87.5k for 4th after a successful debut of the feature with Astralis and FaZe in Cluj-Napoca.
