Defs announce return
Defining Stars have announced their return to gaming affairs following a two-year break.
The Portuguese organisation, founded in 1996, had closed their doors less than two years ago after watching their Counter-Strike team migrate to k1ck.
Defs, who have also confirmed the support of some important companies in Portugal, such as Guimaform, the LAN house where EPT 2010 took place, are now hoping to reach the top once again.
"During these two years of inactivity, I received many offers to reopen defs or to work for other organisations, from Portugal and abroad, but it never crossed my mind to return without being at Defs or to watch Defs active without me, so I kept refusing," Defs chief Ricardo "unjust" Canessa told the organisation's website.
"Now I have some free time, so after being contacted by Nuno "Ice-Man" Soares, who introduced me to a project I think is worth fighting for, I decided to return and bring back some of my friends and ex-Defs."
Although Defs are currently without a Counter-Strike team, HLTV.org has learned they are currently in talks with possible names, so an announcement is expected in the coming days.
