HeUkA steps down at aAa

Against All Authority have announced that Jérôme "HeUkA" Bassat has departed the French Counter-Strike team.

The move comes less than a month after the team's impressive campaign at Gamers Assembly 2010, where they finished runners up to oXmoze.

Bassat, who had joined aAa together with his team-mates from esport-Eu, has now changed his status to inactive after internal problems in the squad emerged.

"Recently, a bad atmosphere within the group had reigned," team manager Arnaud "ricain" Dumas De Rauly told team-aaa.com.

"Internal disagreements since the return from Gamers Assembly plus Heuka's decision to focus on his professional and personal life have caused a gap between the team and their leader."

This decision leaves aAa with just four men, with the French giants confirming they will be adding a new player in time for the ESWC qualifier, which will take place from 22-23 May.
