The 25-year-old reunites with HObbit on 1win.

1win have announced the signing of Timofey "⁠interz⁠" Yakushin, granting the rifler a new home after eight months without a team, his last match coming at Perfect World Shanghai Major.

On 1win interz will reunite with former Gambit and Cloud9 teammate Abay "⁠HObbit⁠" Khassenov, who has been with 1win for just over a year.

interz made his name as one of the supportive elements of the Gambit side that rose to prominence in the online era, winning a string of top-tier events such as IEM Katowice 2021.

The team eventually signed for Cloud9 but struggled to translate their impressive online-era form to LAN play, and interz found himself on the chopping block early in 2023.

After an unsuccessful stint in TSM interz rejoined Cloud9 mid-way through 2024, but the team was already falling apart amidst a long period of underwhelming results, and he found himself without a home when Cloud9 broke apart at the end of the year.

He joins a 1win squad outside the top 100 in both the VRS and HLTV world ranking, who generally play lower tier online competitions and open qualifiers.

he stood out from the cesspool of global elite back in go, graduated from the pigstye of shit that is faceit, grinded in t2, reached t1, sacrificed so much time from family, friends, dedicated alot of his life to this game: where99% give up or fail, he persisted. Yes, he has earned the right to be remunerated for playing this game. You and I get tilted after a 3 match losing streak we cannot even look at a mouse anymore. Anyone who makes it to pro, especially nowadays, is a needle in a haystack.

he has been kicked from 3 teams in less than 3 years for being atrocious at his job and showing no signs of improvement. If I do that as a blue collar worker I'd never be hired again and I'd look for a career change

if you are a good player of function (good anchor) then yes, sure, you dont have to be that little star player with insane mechanics, you just need to think properly and react on what's happening on the map and use proper nades, and average aim and mechanics would be definitely sufficient

C9/gambit is a long time ago now. My last memory of interz was when he returned to that c9 roster and he was awful. Lets not base our expectations on his performance 3-4 years ago but rather 6 months ago? Also he is now not tier 2 but tier 4, the fact that interz gets another shot is purely based on name value. They should have given his spot to an upcoming talent instead of this washed support player who was «decent» 3-4 years ago. Also you are also some random commenting on hltv so that insult is worthless lmao

With the talent pool in Russia being so deep, why the hell would you go for interz? This guy has been terrible in the last few teams he played for, basically has been terrible since the online era, just like, what's the upside of having him rather than gambling on some prospect?
