e-Stars open voting process
The e-Stars organisation has announced that voting has begun to choose the candidates for the 2010 event.
e-Stars 2010, which will run from 13-15 August at Seoul's COEX D Hall, will feature six Counter-Strike teams, three representing the East and three the West.
From the 20-team list compiled by the e-Stars committee on Thursday, the community can now vote for the sides they want to see in action in South Korea.
Voters do not require an account to cast their vote, which will certainly cast further doubt over the legitimacy of the process after in previous years some teams amassed thousands of votes in the space of hours.
Fan voting, which will run from until June 13th, will account for 50 per cent of the final team selection, while 30 per cent will be based on last season's tournament results and 20 per cent on the opinion of the event's committee.
