H2k release female team
H2k Gaming have announced they have parted company with their female Counter-Strike division.
The Norwegian-based team had joined forces with H2k prior to Arbalet Cup Arena Female, but failed to make an impression in Ukraine, finishing at the foot of their group with just one point.
"After certain matters have come to our attention, including dissappointing results and other minor disagreements, it is best that H2k Gaming and the female team split paths," an H2k statement read.
The future of the female team appears to be unknown, but with their former home, Confis.org, registering no signs of activity, it looks like they will be on the lookout for a new organisation.
Meanwhile, H2k Gaming have indicated they have not given up on the possibility of having a female Counter-Strike team on a long-term basis just yet.
H2k Gaming had the following team:
Linda "Alandria" Albrigsten
Hanne "HaySS" Skårdal
Line "Vanilje" Eriksen
Cecilia "D1zzy" Melander
Sandra "SMinkan" Nymark-Brand
