The Romanian AWPer is expected to make way for story at the turn of the year.

FlyQuest have benched Iulian "⁠regali⁠" Harjău and listed him for transfer "by mutual decision," the North American organization announced on Sunday.

The 23-year-old had been a part of the team for a year, having joined at the end of 2024 as part of a series of moves that FlyQuest hoped would end the team's struggles to break into top-flight competition on a regular basis.

They fell short of that goal, ending 2025 without a single notable playoff appearance, as regali, much like the rest of the roster, couldn't find his form at the highest level, with his 1.11 average rating dropping to 0.98 against top 20 teams.

The Romanian AWPer is expected to be replaced by João "⁠story⁠" Vieira after RTP Arena reported on the move earlier this week and SAW confirmed the sale of all of their players on Saturday.

Its not a problem of AWP impact or fitting in the system, its an attempt at an upgrade in terms of IGLing and mid round voice Story ever since he came back to SAWs starting lineup had been MUT's right hand man for calling, helping him with mid round calls and the like. And thats whats been missing from flyquest, they had the firepower but they froze in mid round scenarios

these kind of moves maybe works in-game from a purely skill perspective but outside of the game I doubt it was that good. These eastern european players are rarely social, lack the necessary language/social skill to socialize in these kind of teams. All parts of aspects that no one on HLTV ever takes into consideration.
