coL win first IOL final

compLexity have secured entry into the main final at IOL after coming from behind to beat H2k Gaming 2-1.

There is little story to tell about the first map, de_nuke, where a tremendous start from H2k saw them win the first half 14-1. coL still tried to put some pressure on their opponents, but all they could do was to win four rounds as H2k picked up a 16-5 success.

Next up was de_train, a much more even map, as the teams entered overtime after two 8-7 halves. H2k required just four rounds to walk out winners, but coL stopped their opponents and won it 19-17 to level the tie on one map.

The last map, de_inferno, was once again very one-sided, but this time it went coL's way, the American team picking up a 16-5 victory to win the tie 2-1.

Agree. I like Xp3 but I don't know if hes the best option. Should steal GFN or something! The only reason I say this is because Evo + hero are better with the AWP in my opinion. They should get another person that's good with rifles. But they're winning so who knows.... Waste of 3 talented awpers on one team tho!

naZ is an on-the-fly caller with basically no positive experience against world teams. when he was on the old EG, they beat fnatic, but fnatic still had ins and archi and were at an all time low. plus, ninespot dropped like 40 on them. they might be able to find a smarter in game leader than xp3 (even though i think hes doing great so far), but they wont find a strat caller that can frag better than him, he's completely insane.

EG can't use that excuse much longer. It would be different if they weren't 0-4 against them. Frod is overrated. Gfn is streaky. Lurpiss can't frag and will move back to finland eventually. Storm is ok but predictable. N0thing hasn't had a really dominating performance in a long time but he's their best all around player. Eventually Intel is going to realize they picked the wrong pony, especially if coL keeps taking frothy dumps on them.

The first time they played them, they had to beat them on Train to make it to the cevo finals. The score was 16-12 I believe.

fRoD is not overrated at all. hes carried them for a majority of the season actually, and his role on the team is incredibly hard. only recently did n0thing start pulling through in big matches, and I'm only referring to the past few months. before then EG was a lot more integrated and everyone was making huge plays consistently. and NFSPracer, I wont get into how badly coL destroyed them in the cevo finals, but youre physically watching how well theyre playing on LAN. if you think EG's taking them down easily you got another thing coming :). EG's had the privelege of attending multiple bootcamps overseas, while the old coL only lived in a summer house together for a month or two, with only american teams to practice against. now the playing fields even and both teams are getting room to develop equally.

His strat calling is amazing and his is easily one of the best US players on lan as he proved in the past two esea finals and a way better option than goodfornothing for coL. In 3 months if they can keep their same 5 they will be the best american team and and international top 10 teams but gg pz out swedes~*

you should watch some of their demos from this weekend. this isnt the same compLexity.

News flash. CoL is better than EG. Dboorn is a better aimer than n0thing. Hero is a better awper than frod and better with other weapons. Xp3 is a better fragger and more agressive IGL than Lurpiss. Thomz has a better rifle and better teamwork than storm. Evolution is more versatile than gfn. The only advantage EG has is almost a year of practice. If you took both teams and had them practice for the same amount of time, coL would rape EG like a defenseless child every time. You need to pay more attention when watching matches before you talk. That's assuming you're actually smart enough to understand what's going on... But if you're an EG fanboy I doubt that's the case.
