GG alerts for fake Baltic qualifier

The GameGune organisation has alerted teams from the Baltic states about a fake qualifier for the Spanish tournament.

Over at Latvian gaming website SKILLz.lv it was announced that the Baltic states would hold for the first time a qualifier for GameGune 2010, which will take place from 22-24 July in Bilbao.

According to the announcement, two separate online pre-qualifiers would take place in the last two weekends of May and prepare the way for the LAN qualifier, to be played at the Elik Internet Cafe from 12-13 June.

However, contacted by HLTV.org, GameGune officials have stressed that they have not been approached by any Baltic party of yet, and thus no spot will be reserved to the winner of this qualifier.

Meanwhile, GameGune has revealed the names of the first four teams that will attend the 2010 event, which you can check here.
