Millenium release CS team
Millenium have announced they have parted company with their Counter-Strike squad.
This decision comes shortly after the team's semi-final exit at the ESWC qualifier following a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Fair Frag.
Millenium had decided to stay faithful to their longtime captain, Steeve "Ozstriker" Flavigni, and give him the opportunity to assemble a new line-up after his old team-mates had turned their back on him.
However, the team could never reach the top in France, which did not sat well with the Millenium hierarchy, used to have a winning quintet for such a long time.
With Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni set to hang up his mouse at the end of the season, Millenium saw few reasons to continue with the project, and have decided against renewing the players' contracts.
Millenium will present their new team after the ESWC World Finals, with the organisation promising that it will try to regain the number-one status in the country and be a regular at international events.
Millenium had the following team:
Marc "bisou" Naoum
Steve "jarod" Cohen
Michel "mshz" Nguyen
Matthieu "skelp" Onillon
Romain "MystiQ^" Dane
Steeve "Ozstriker" Flavigni (retired)
